As we are getting close to spring where I live and in my new found hobby of creating different art forms, I am enjoying making (playing) with paper dolls that are created from Prima Mixed Media stamps from Julie Nutting. Today I am sharing two I created yesterday. It seems I want to make a collection of this doll before getting more cling stamps from
The pink one, reminds me of a spring party, just a simple printed dress. I made the tags from scrapbook papers and added embellishments. I like to give the dolls dimension so they are setting on foam to raise them up. Both I used cling stamps with sentiments. The pink though you cannot see in the photo, says, “Live in the moment, Love in the Moment”.
The dress in turquoise I experimented with and made with fabric and to give the dress stability, I bonded it to an adhesive sheet then adding a light weight paper for backing. I made the turquoise rose, and also added a crocheted pink flower with button. And though you cannot see it, I use glitter on their shoes and crowns.

Both of them are beautiful and I like the dresses and the accessories you’ve made for them. I love the details in the second one, it looks so decadent and luxurious. Like if she had gone to a party with her dress and sparkly shoes and taken memories from there to keep them forever.
These are so pretty. Are they used in scrap booking? They look like bookmarks and yet would be too pretty to hide them in a book. They need to be on display. 🙂
Hi Kristi, first thanks for stopping by. Hum I had not thought of them as bookmarkers, lol, I am trying to make a collection since I just discovered I enjoy playing with paper and stamps.
