About Me and Oh My Heartsie Girl

I am a country girl living in bigger cities since I was 16. So like A Little Bit Country A little bit Diva and lots of Bling! I still enjoy all the things I learned growing up with my mom, 2 aunts, and a grandmother to raise me. I had a lot of influence from them both in cooking, and in fashion as they all sewed and made a lot of their clothes, and all my pretty dresses, “until I was about 15” when I wanted store-bought dresses, but then a sister in law helped make things that were in my age range and for school dances and helped to accessorize them with high heels and jewelry. From being around all the sewing I learned how myself and started making my own things, then simple, like sleepwear and casual, bags and crafts. But really while in 4-H and my aunt, I honed the skill of sewing and it was instilled forever. Later on, after having kids I made a lot of clothes for my kids over the years including coats and jeans.  But now I love creating jewelry and it is an off and on hobby along with crafts.

Since I love to cook and bake, I am always trying new recipes, many I find on other blogs and Pinterest Update

I have been working on the internet since 1991 but did not really get into the blogging scene until 2009.  I love to share creative ideas, crafts, tutorials, suggestions, recipes. I enjoy writing about products, human interest stories, offer bloggers a platform for sharing their blogs to help them with exposure and best of all meeting new friends.  “Oh! My Heartsie Girl” is where I occasionally review company products to write reviews, share recipes, offer events, weekly memes, writing and sharing tutorials and enjoy meeting new bloggers. I also love gardening and my favorite is baking, cooking and trying new recipes to share with family and friends.  The second is becoming my favorite, it is all about fashion and that has always been one of my passions. Whether it’s about hair, shoes, clothes, jewelry, accessories, purses, I love them all and this is whatLive Laugh Love To Shop Blog is all about. A way to express what I like in the way of colors and styles. I love Pinterest, as it is a way to create fun boards for me the talk about and share. On Live Laugh Love To Shop, I offer product reviews that are related to fashion, events, contests, and giveaways. I have really found that blogging is such a rewarding experience and I have met so many wonderful friends while visiting other blogs. It has also given me the opportunity to create a niche for each blog, which took a while.

I am a mother of 4, have 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 step-grandson and after working the last 20 years with my husband, I needed to reconnect with women and found that through blogging it has given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful friends.

Hi Karren! I stumbled upon your blog through a shared tweet about you blog link up and I am so glad I did! I am a country girl and honestly just despise the city! I prefer the wide open spaces and the slower pace. I am very blessed to be able to live my dream life on a little hobby farm with plenty of pets to keep us busy!

I look forward to getting to know you better…it’s always nice to make new friends!

    Hi team at ohmyheartsiegirl.com

    How are you?

Do you offer article placements on your site: ohmyheartsiegirl.com

    – We would get the article written which will fit the nature/topic of your site.
    – In the article there is a good chance there will be a link going to a gaming/betting review site, which will be very well integrated.
    – Payment is made via Paypal.

What are your rates for such a placement?

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,
