1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
36 saltine crackers
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. crushed walnuts
Spread a large cookie sheet with foil, spray with Pam. Place crackers close together to form bottom layer. In small saucepan, place butter and brown sugar, heat to boil 4 minutes. Spread evenly over crackers.
Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes of baking
Remove, sprinkle with chocolate chips evenly over top. Wait a few minutes, then spread with spatula. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool in refrigerator. Break into pieces.
I like to let these cool completely in fridge then use the edges of the foil to lift from pan and set on hard surface to cut. You can cut these in squares or like below brake apart
Add Christmas Sprinkles
These are truly a treat and so easy to make to give for gifts, neighbors and friends, one year I made them to sell at a Holiday Boutique, they were the first to sell.
A chocolatey goodness! Yummy!
