Hi everyone, the weekend is approaching and wanted to wish you all a great weekend. I also wanted to share my latest creation, and February Challenge at Lindy’s Stamp Gang February Challenge and another Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamp & Tag I found at Simon Says Stamp, not to mention all other goodness they have, I wander around their online store making wish lists.

I actually redesigned her dress to a longer length by adding the appearance of ruffles in three layers. Her under bodice, ribbon sash and second ruffle I made using embossing over black cardstock, then another layer the same as the dress and the third a lavender layer. In this first picture I am showing all the cut pieces before I assemble my doll.

Next I have attached all the ruffles and deciding position of the doll on the tag.

                     I have named her Gabriella!

Her she is complete with glitz on each of the folds of her dress, flowers flourishes, cheesecloth butterflies and a stick pin. I tried to use as many layers as I could think of. What do you think? I think I love the longer dress and the colors are a great combination. What kind of crafts do you make?
