Our Wordless Wednesday is now open read along of reflections of the weekend, we had a quite one, but Barbecuing was at the top of the list! My son and I love to cook and with his talent of infusing spices and rubs we enjoyed his tasty rubbed beer chicken, yummy lime chili wings, my rubbed ribs, veggie skrews, drunken potatoes, slaw and baked beans. And while we enjoy all these great foods it is sad what genetically modified foods could do to our foods our kids and generations to come!! A must watch movie when you have time. Please also share with your friends everywhere “Seeds of Death” YouTube
We also watch my visitors and new foul friends the mallard duck with babies, I call mommy duck “Daisy” as some of you may have read an early post about them. As an update she has lost 2 from the original count of 7! I am sad about that, we don’t know what happened but she wanders the neighborhood so there is no telling (•︹•)

It looks like you had a great weekend. I can’t wait until my sons are old enough to run the grill without supervision. I will have my feet up by the pool. I can’t get over how cute Daisy and her babies are. Happy WW.

all that food is got me starving! we had cold & wet weather here in S.E. WI. Just the 2 of us, so nothing special. Tho hubby did help sell t-shirts for our local American Legion post to raise funds for care packages for all people still serving over seas.
Looks like a great celebration. We’re sorry that Daisy lost some of her babies. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
