I’m sure many of you have been reading about my husband and after the angiogram, 2 stents, a new pacemaker, and defibrillator, after coming home from the hospital he was ok for 1 week but he just could not gain strength and he started having shortness of breath. It is with great sadness that my husband Don was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019, he passed away at home. It leaves a hole in my heart and my life as I was his caregiver for the past 5 years. There were so many things as you can imagine I did for him and I am told he was spoiled, but thats what I liked to do for him. My emotions are all over the place with the new responsibilities of running our companies business now with my son Justin to step and his comfort me!! He has been in the manufacturing of an organic soil supplement for 27 years for us and it was Dons dream to help the poor with our product to help them create a job and provide chemical-free fruits and vegetables for their families. It is an entanglement of tasks I am undertaking, hopefully, things will smooth out in time. We had a celebration of life with his twin daughters from Florida, my daughter, and granddaughter from Salt Lake, Justin and I. I am comforted through my faith that he is in Gods hands and no longer suffering from all his ailments and that we will meet again someday!

Karen,
My prayers are with you, for comfort and peace. I know how hard it is to be widowed and although it has been almost 15 years, the pain can still bubble upward. My love and hugs to you and Justin! I am praying that you receive a sign from Don, that shows he is looking down with love and much care for you both. Look for feathers, coins, rainbows, scents, songs, birds, and other things that Don may send to show his love. Expect them at times you won’t expect them! God bless you.
Oh Karren, I’m so very about the loss of your husband. I will keep you in my prayers every day.
Still thinking of you and your loss. I’ve been there….not with a spouse but with other loved ones and it’s hard. prayers for strength in the days to come. Teresa
