I see lots of crafts by talented bloggers and when I saw these cute cork creations I had to give it a try. They are so easy even I could handle it. And I didnt want to spend any money and use supplies I had on hand and this fit perfect with the bag of wine corks I have been saving. Now I wish I had been saving them all because when I search on Pinterest I can find a lot more ideas. I have even seen on eBay you can buy bundle of them or at the craft store.
I love making a craft that does not take a lot of time and thought these wine cork apples and wine cork pumpkins were perfect to try. And as Camille over at Growing up Gabel says, they wold make a great teacher gift but could be made into a gift with packs of Apple Cider and a few cookies in a clear cellophane bag tied with a bow.
And these are wine cork pumpkins I made with a cork for the stem I wrapped with twine. I cut out felt leaves and added ribbon.
Supplies: All you need for these projects are
Wine corks
Acrylic paints
Hot glue
Ribbon
Felt or silk leaves
Scissors
Utility knife
Since I did not take pics of the process I found the same craft on Growing up Gabel, she has detailed instructions. They are quick to make and look cute anywhere you display them.
