What I Made Yesterday Wordless Wednesday
I made this Prima Doll Art Tag for a Swap over at Art & Sassy Ning for February. The tag is created on heavy card stock, layered with 1 Washi pattern Tape Sheet and 2 colors of cardstock. I used Sizzix dies to cut the leaves, created the fabric flower and embellished it with pink glitter nail polish and pearl and cut pink leaves. I used Prima Paper DOLL WITH STRAPLESS DRESS, cut the dress from black card stock and embellished the folds with glitter, adding an over skirt of pink chiffon, a floral of satin from Offray Accessories and I just happened to have the Princess crown and added glitter. More pearls and rhinestones from a sale bin at Michaels Crafts. I also edged the bottom of the tag with more pink chiffon ribbon.
The swap was to also include a altered domino charm to match as you can see below.
The swap was to include 2 dolls either the same or different and I chose to make a different one for the second. For this tag I used paper from the The Primrose Stack from DCWV I also found at Michaels Crafts. I fussy cute the dress from one of the pattern papers from the same collection and used glitter again to highlight the folds of the skirt, and again I added an over skirt of pink chiffon with another fabric flower from Offray. Her crown is a metal charm that I added the pink glitter polish to match the other details. I also made paper flowers I cut using the Sizzix Branch and Leaf Set that I Mod Podged and formed into flowers. I added 2 layers for the ruffle on the bottom of the tag with pink lace and pink chiffon.
