I use vinegar to remove salt stains from my shoes and boots left from our massive winter months. I use one cap of vinegar to about 4caps of tap water and apply with a cloth. Takes salt stains right off. If u use plain water the salt stains come right back but with the vinegar solution it stays off until u get back in the snow and get them right back. Thank you for all the other ways to use this inexpensive product.
