Hi everyone I hope you are all doing well staying safe and no one has been effected.
I want to let you all know the reason I have not been blogging and with everything else that is going on, my children’s dad passed away on the 28th, I will let you know so you are not wondering, he died of Metastatic Cancer, it started with Prostate cancer and nothing to do with COVID. No one knew how sick he really was, all that was going on, only his sister and she thought the kids knew. As a family, we were all together on Thanksgiving and Christmas and again when his brother passed in Feb. He saw his brother and sister, nieces and nephews and our kids one last time. We will cherish those memories. You just never know.
I am in Salt Lake to help with getting his estate in order including his belongings. I’m sure many of you will know what I mean when it comes to finalizing those details.
We had a celebration of life together since we could no have a funeral. We talked and shared the fun we had camping, bbq’s about good times and then wrote our last messages to him, we took pictures and then tied the messages to a ballon, wishing him goodbye we released the balloon to watch it disappear. He will be missed but not forgotten!! Boy, it has been tough for the last 9 months. Please know that if you leave comments, I appreciate your kind messages. My deepest sympathy, Karen! Prayers for you and your family during this difficult time. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and had radiation therapy so I am hoping for a full remission for him. Please keep him in your prayers.
