The more water you drink, the less room you have for sugary soft drinks, calorie-laden coffees and super sweet juice like drinks.

This will also help you to keep your caloric intake in check. Many don’t realize just how many extra calories they are drinking during the day. Those beverage calories do count and over time they add up to pounds and inches. Don’t want that? Watch what you drink.

Some find it harder than others to get in their water during the day but it really isn’t that difficult. Keep in mind that water is so healthy for you and not something you’ll want to neglect.

Keep a bottle of water by your side at all times so you’ll always have water easily accessible. It’s much easier to drink water when it’s right by you. This doesn’t mean that you have to purchase spring water or purified water by the bottle. Grab a BPA free bottle that you can refill with whatever type of water you are drinking.

Drink hot drinks if you enjoy them, like coffee, green tea, and black tea. When you make these drinks yourself, you can control the amount of sweetener as well as what type of sweetener is used. White sugar isn’t the only option. The experiment will healthier sweeteners and sugar alternatives until you find something that you like.

If you fail to stay hydrated you’re sabotaging your weight loss efforts as well as risking your overall health because your body needs water to run at optimal levels.
