I was surprised and feel honored to receive the Liebster Award from Marilyn Lesniak, of Marilyn Treats . It is an online award that is passed on from blogger to blogger of his or her choosing to recognize up and coming bloggers. It has been around for a few years now. There are different badges around as well as different requirements, but no matter what the varying rules are, the general idea remains the same: Answer the questions from the blogger who nominated you, nominate other bloggers who you feel deserve this award who are new to blogging and give them your own questions to answer.

My 11 Questions from Marilyn

If you could live life all over again with the knowledge you have right now, what if any changes would you make? That I would have finished school, gone onto college before settling down. 

 If you could live anywhere in the world where would you choose and why? I think it would be somewhere in Europe because of the architecture, culture and arts.

If you were choosing a new life path, would you change what you are doing now and why? I’m still trying to figure this out

What is your favorite trait in a person and who do you know that has it? I think the most important trait, is being positive and that would be my stepdaughter Colette!!!

What talent do you wish you had and how would you use it? Public speaking, to help motivate women in being self reliant and how to start a business.

If you could only eat one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Mexican food, because I love the flavors.

What is your favorite way of being entertained and why? Honestly I thought about this, and it would be, preparing a big meals and watching my kids enjoy my cooking, as it gives me much pleasure!

What is your favorite holiday? Christmas
