I have seen JORD watches on blogs for several years now and thought they were interesting, when I was contacted to Review a Watch for JORD watches I was like “really” you want me to receive a watch, for a review, I was like ecstatic, to say the least. And of course I said yes!!!

I was so excited to visit their site and see the amazing craftsmanship that goes into these watches. They are all made of different kinds of woods, and then they design and make only a number of watches in a style for sale, when those are gone, they start with new wood to continue the process and design. It will be a fun watch to wear with fall coming soon with denim and layers of clothing.

The watch I chose is the Fieldcrest in Maple and is a classic midsize watch. You wont believe how light weight these are, were used to thinking they will be heavy and sort of bulky, not so, very light and comfortable. You do have to care for the watch with walnut oils, beeswax or olive oil to keep the wood conditioned.

Sizing: When talking with the representative from Jord, they offered to size my watch to fit the way I wanted to wear it, which I chose to have it slightly lose but not slip over. (I thought that was great because I figured no one here would know how to size such a unique watch).
