Here we are, the 54th Friday Features Linky Party and there is plenty of inspiration, ideas, recipes and more to be shared this week! There are always so many wonderful ideas that are shared on Fridays, I wish I could share them all, but if you missed them from last week you can see them here //⇒ Friday Features Nov 5th So lets go for a stroll and check out some of our features…..All Features are now being Pinned each week. Please follow on
Thank you!
CD’s Country Living //⇒ A Simple-Nature Inspired Thanksgiving Tablescape! // CD will be hosting a Thanksgiving and quickly made plans on her menu and her tablescape, she decided to use simple by using nature inspiration. A few pumpkins-colorful corn, pine cones-wheat and corn stalks! I also incorporated a few thrift store finds, like the pedestal and white pitchers.
The Lazy Gastronome //Maple Pumpkin Pie //⇒Helen uses fresh cooked pumpkin, maple syrup in her pumpkin pie, giving it a yummy flavor along with her own spices that she chooses, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and ginger. You can use “canned pumpkin”, not the prepared pumkin filling and add your own spices, it tastes like grandma used to make. By visiting you can print her recipes when you visit.
The Paper Seedling // Give Thanks //⇒With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought it special to share Linda’s card, it is perfect. she has some great ideas and when visiting you will find she has entered her card in the Paper Players Challenge
Winnish// Praline Crunch Apple Cake //⇒ This wonderful cake is rich in apples and topped with Lotus Biscuits for that crunchy topping along with cinnamon, cashews and butter, Can you imagine the flavor and crunch, can I say “YUM”!! Wait.. Im not done, this cake has a frosting before placing the crunchy topping.
Marty’s Musings //⇒ How To Make a Fall Rag Wreath // Marty made her wreath with a coat hanger and re-cycled fabric from clothes she was going to donate. Once the fabric strips are created this wreath goes together quick and is perfect for fall, add a burlap ribbon and its ready for the door.
Domestic Gothess //⇒Toffee Apple Gingerbread Loaf // Hannah creates this delicious looking cake with soft dark brown sugar, golden syrup, cinnamon, ginger and something I have not heard of called “treacle” Treacle is any uncrystallised syrup made during the refining of sugar. Does it not look delicious for fall baking?
Garden Up Green //⇒ Give Thanks Centerpiece 2015 //The Give Thanks centerpieces have become a tradition on her site, so each year she shares a new one and the can be purchased in her shop. Sugar and Soul //⇒ Simple Dark Chocolate Brownies //I cant say it any better than Rebecca, “These Simple Dark Chocolate Brownies are an intense rich chocolate dessert served with a silky layer of chocolate ganache”! I sometimes wish I could just take a fork and get a bite. Looks pretty tasty!!
Sum of Their Stories //⇒ Felt Envelopes for Gift Cards // These past few years I have been ding more giving of gift cards and when I saw these easy to make felt envelopes I couldn’t resist to share. There plenty of time to create for Christmas and could be made for all occasions. A special touch for a gift! Jennifer Meyering //⇒Spiced Apple Sangria // What could be more refreshing than a drink made with apples and cinnamon and cloves. Add a splash of vodka and white wine, add a cinnamon stick and you have a yummy sangria! I hope that you enjoyed the features this week, there were so many I wanted to share.
