With warmer weather coming I saw this coaster pattern and thought they would be cute for summer drinks to keep the table dry. But I have been had these little crocheted coasters made for a while now and decided it was time to share. There is also a hot pad holder pattern I found⇒ here and modified it some. I love the strawberry, I think it turned out cute. It would be fun making sets of them to give as gifts, they work up quickly and take minimal yarn. I had not crocheted in years and picked it up after experimenting a bit to get the hang of it again.
I used a smaller hook with Sugar & Cream cotton yarn. I found mine a Joann’s on sale and there are lots of colors to choose from. I have used this yarn to make dish cloths too and works great.
If you would like the pattern to all other coasters you can find full tutorial here⇒ Repeat Crafter Me
