If you want to take a day trip, about 75 miles, go to Lexington, Kentucky. Located in the scenic Bluegrass Region, it is the best place to raise a champion racehorse, don’t miss a visit to Thoroughbred Park. The park is 2.5 acres of walking trails and has a limestone track. Continue on the trail to view 13 life-size horse sculptures and 42 plaques.
