I would tell myself if I would listen, to take life more serious, work harder in school to get better grades and that it is ok to ask questions if you dont know an answer. To help my mom, grandma and aunt more when they ask, I always had an excuse, be more outgoing and friendly. Not to be so hard on myself, we all are going to make mistakes and we all deserve to do that, it is was make us grow and develop character.
My teen self did not realize that my parents were looking out for my best interests and that what they would tell me was for my own good, as they too were teens themselves.
