Look how cute these candle holders are, made from three glass candleholders from the Dollar Store in different sizes, then 3 bird cages from Michael’s. Some satin ribbon and sheet moss. She also used battery operated candles. For the whole tutorial you can find it at Little Miss Celebration Painted Bird Cages
For the Back To School wreath she bought her supplies including fabric to cover a 12 Styrofoam wreath along with school supplies. I think it turned out really cute. You can find complete details over at Clark’s Condensed Back To School Wreath
Moni from Zu Haus At Home created this great tablescape made from things she had on hand plus some great gifts her sister sent her. This is great for a summer table setting and you can read all the details over at Zu Haus At Home
I found this Cloche over at Oh My Creative, Susan says and I quote, “Its the new chalkboard of crafting materials”. Made using chicken wire she bought at a home improvement store to create. This is just one of several she made. I had never seen anything like this, but boy are they cute. So you surely must see the others she has made, plus read how she made these cute “lil thangs”. Oh My Creative!! Chicken Wire Cloche
Now since I was visiting Oh My Creative, I found this DIY Waterfall and Pond that Susan and her husband made, instead of paying $4000.00 or $5000.00 to have one installed. With determination they made this lovely pond, with plants and supplies for $441.50 (not including their labor) but you know how that goes. When its a labor of love that does not count. Just hugs for hubby!! So for more pictures and detailed information check out Oh My Creatives DIY Backyard Pond Landscape Water Feature
I have one more DIY feature from Oh My Creative, its a way when you grow cucumbers they don’t sprawl all over the ground and grow upright so you can see the cucumbers to pick. Susan came up with a great idea, used 2 years in a row. Take a look at how she did this. Grow Cucumbers On A Trellis
Priscilla has done a lot in this feature but the part that caught my eye is the use of sunflowers in her center piece. She used a galvanized tray from Sam’s Club and lots of chickens in various sizes and colors and then you can see that “Mason Jar” with checkered ribbon with more sunflowers. I love the addition of the chalk board that make it complete. And there’s more and for all the details you can go to Priscilla’s 2000 blog to see the rest of her pictures and how she carried the sunflower theme through her house.
Ok for the one I was saving and am getting a “kick out of” are the use of belts and the story behind them. Robin from “ReDo It Yourself Inspirations” came up with this idea, because she loves belts so much, she hunts them down like a “cowboy, at flea market and yard sales”. She tells a cute story and if you would like to read about her, the belts and more pictures you can read her piece at “Got Belts”
Thats my features I hope that you enjoy some of them, or all of them, let me know. But now on with the Giveaway and Party!!!
Disclosure: Please note that by linking up, you are giving me permission to add to our party emails and to use your images and information, should I choose to feature them in coming weeks, all credits and link back to your blog will be provided.
