First the reason for creating a “Clickable Links” and how it could be used.
Commenting is key to building relationships with your readers and to gain followers but just writing “nice post” gets you targeted as a “spammer” so taking the time to read the content of a post and then writing a quality comment it “King” it helps to add quality to the blog post. Here are some ideas to consider before your comment:
-
Blogs you find in your niche, which will allow do-follow links
-
Blogs you find in your niche, which use CommentLuv
-
The rank of the blog
-
Consider the size of the blog where you want to engage in conversation
-
Blogs that you find with great information and with active comment with discussions
You can use clickable links on both WordPress and Blogger blog comments.
So with that said, here is a great reason to use clickable links when writing comments
Instructions are for creating” clickable link” for a comment.
⇩ ⇩
<a href=” Your Link Goes Here “> Title Goes Here </a>
⇩ ⇩
<a href=” mommiespov.com/kids-crafts/ “>Kids Crafts {w/Linkys}</a> Note remove the ( http:// )
Note: If you are linking back to a particular page, linky hop, etc, be sure you have the correct link from the browser address bar.
These links can be pasted into either a Blogger or WordPress Comment. Once you click Publish the link will appear clickable. That’s it, hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
Final thoughts: I’m not saying that you want to leave a backlink every-time your comment, you just like what you have read and want to voice your thought, That’s ok. Do keep in mind, that with each blog you visit, reading a post can take you several minutes to read and then several minutes to write a quality comment, so if you were to visit 5 blogs a day, you could spend up to half hour visiting and commenting, or more, however, if it is a blog in your niche, then leaving a “backlink” is a good idea. And of course, there could be a time when you want to write about a post you have read and “give credit” to the author. When I do this, I go back to the original blog post and comment, I leave a link back (created the same as a backlink) to my blog where I have written the new post, “giving credit to the author”, almost always they will come to visit and see what you have done and leave you a comment. A Win Win situation!!

This instructions are only for “creating clickable links” within your dashboard of WordPress.
In your dash board there are icons, that look like little chain link over a world. How you use these icons is:
1) You would first copy a “link” that you want to use, i.e., (http://ohmyheartsie.com)” or a direct link to any post or even another website.
2) Next: “Highlight the words” in your doc you want to make “clickable”
3) Click on the “left” chain link in your dashboard, a box will open
4) Add the link into the box where it says “URL”
5) Click on “Add ink”, the box will close and the words you highlighted are now a clickable link.

Thank you for this information! I will forever have to look up the code for making a link click-able, no matter how many times I do it! Thanks for sharing it with us at Funtastic Friday!
Im glad that you found that post useful, I am the same way. One easy way is to add the text you want to link in a “junk post” and thn link it . Once you have done that go to the Text side of the post in WordPress or the HTML tabe in blogger. Once that is done you can just copy to use anywhere, such as Blogger Tutorials
If you ever need help with a tutorial I am happy help, I have written many over the years!
