Paper and Paste: Challenge + WW 5 comments

Ok so you ask, what is a paste challenge, well since I am getting into this hobby thing of creating with paper, there are way to many products to try, but in this “challenge” over at “Simon Says Stamp Company” this challenge includes using a medium of paste, which for those that dont know (and I didnt until a while back) they wanted us to  use paste to create texture in our project. So………I needed to see what others had been doing to make their project and I landed on a blog that explained something I had not seen done and thought I may as well try it since I was trying the paste too. So thanks to Suzzs Stamping Spot this is what I did.

First I cut a took a piece of file folder, and covered it with “paste” actually “Modeling Paste” then I took a piece of tissue and placed over the entire portion of paste I had spread out. Next with a embossing folder I opened it, laid it over the tissue, I used my brayed the surface of the embossing folder. I had to wait for this to dry overnight.

Then comes the fun part, to decide what to add to my tag. I decided since I had used a gears embossing folder the theme had to be something to do with a clock, time. etc. Then I decided it needed more paste so I added a layer on the top in the corner too. Thus my creation. Funny I never know until I get to this part what will go on the tag. So with that, I think it turned out pretty ok, for my first try with molding paste. What do you think?
