Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday!! We always get a head start each week and our Co-Hosts chose from the previous week’s links and we have gone overboard by featuring 9 blogs on week #163!! I am sure that you will find it both fun and interesting to meet and make friends with bloggers through our party and we appreciate your visit today!

And to let my blogging friends know, I am doing better each day but I still stumble along each day with reminders around me but I know in time it will be easier? ANy suggestions would be helpful…. I miss my hubs Don and it’s just now hitting me its forever! Its already been a month and I don’t know how I got this far without family and friends. Sometimes I just have to get out of the house and go somewhere. The first neighbor Marilyn, I met 16 years ago and her husband took me to breakfast Sunday at the Sante Fe Casino Buffet and that was lovely. This week I am going with her to a women’s luncheon. I have never had the time or taken the time to make friends here since we moved to Vegas, so I’m venturing out, I need to find a way to make a difference and I don’t want my son to feel like he has to hang around. I just remembered today, when the neighbor across the way lost his wife he filled his calendar every day with something to do and I’m going to try and do that too.

Thanks for hosting! This week I am bringing more goodness from the garden. Tuna Salad in a Cantaloupe Bowl with cottage cheese and pineapple kicks off the list. Then a cucumber, tomato and red onion salad for a lite summer lunch. To round off the menu is a simple but delicious Cucumber and Onion side dish! Enjoy!

I wish I had some words of advice for you but I don’t. I know when my mother in law lost her husband we spent lots more time with her trying to keep her busy. She hated having long stretches of time unoccupied. Thanks so much for hosting this party.
