This 5 Ingredient Shortcake is a guarded recipe from Off The Sidewalk, originally this was baked in a wood stove, making sure that it maintained a proper temperature while baking. Carlyn tells her interesting story along with this delicious recipe.

Starfish, sea shells, mini sail boats (they’re actually place card holders) and glass buoys are some of the nautical items that were used. Along with wire sea creatures (fish, seahorses and dolphins) and placed them among the other pieces in the table. They have teal colored glass ball middles and add a cute touch with a pop of color to the design.

Moist chocolate cake, drenched with sweetened condensed milk and topped with marshmallow frosting and crushed graham crackers! What could be better than a S’mores Cake?

And one more tasty treat comes from Pinch Of Nutmeg, Peach Berry Cobbler. I am seeing so many recipes this summer for cobbler, but I like the combination of Peach and Blueberries. Cobblers are a treat no matter the season, dont you think?
