Easy Beaded Bracelet Tutorial 1 comment

Step 1 Bracelet

Oh My Heartsie Girl Creations

I have wanted to get back to creating jewelry and I sure have plenty of supplies. I have been designing jewelry for about 5 years, just have not for a long time.  So here is my the 1st  I have created to share with you.  It is a simple version of a beaded bracelet, the only tool is a pair of scissors, cording, 4 little beads and a cute button {wish I had my grandmothers button drawer now}. You can always add many more beads as I have seen done, but I chose to only add the four silver beads and” silver heart button” to match.

To start I cut the cording to about 14 inches to allow for the knots on the bracelet and if you use heavier cording or thin leather you would need to adjust. The closure is created when you tie your last knot, as the loop slips over the button.

For different wrist sizes you would want to adjust placement of beads and knots to accommodate the wrist size.

This is such a easy design that you could make it in about 10 minutes once you have your supplies assembled. And would be a great project that could be done as a group. You could make an arm full in an hour which would be fun to stack or add with other bracelets and a watch.

The colors are endless and I chose green as it is one of the key colors for fall as I plan on incorporating into my wardrobe. There is a Pantone color chart below of our 2013 Fall colors for clothing, fashion, jewelry and home decor, so choose your favorites in any variation from the darkest to the lightest.
